11 APRIL 2017, LIBRA, Supermoon NO, Eclipse NO
Exact time & zodiac degree of this moon | Understanding Full Moons |
The current Full Moon in Libra is visible below bright Jupiter. What we can’t see without telescopes is that the full moon is also opposite Uranus and square Pluto. In Libra, this full moon is all about harmony, balance, co-operation, respect, mediation and reconciliation. Libra is also the zodiac sign of justice, and when Jupiter-Pluto-Uranus are involved (in this challenging T-square), ‘life’ might intervene with ‘divine justice’ by checking ‘soul records’ and making unseen (unless we have ‘soul telescopes’) decisions (another Libra keyword) about each soul’s next options. Whenever the outer planets align with each other in such dramatic configuration – seen (Jupiter) and unseen (Uranus & Pluto) – often it’s an indication that larger forces of life are at work. Jupiter is currently in the zodiac sign Libra, now next to the Full Moon in Libra, so a possible soul-centred interpretation is that the larger unseen forces to do with themes of balance and justice are now becoming visible.
If you become aware, even just subconsciously, that you are choosing to behave in win-lose ways, switching to a win-win value system is likely to be an important consideration at this time. The asteroid goddess Astraea, who is all about huge karmic balancing across lifetimes, is next to Pluto, showing that the right form of balance will be presented to each of us in life’s right timing and will stay hidden (Pluto) until that moment. Sometimes life brings balance through a sudden ‘stimulus’, shown through Uranus. Astrologically this is very possible from the moment of this full moon but might show up later. October could be an interesting month for these things when more planets are in Libra, the justice-balancing zodiac sign.
Even if you have a feeling your soul might’ve done something out of balance in another lifetime, the positive benevolent bright shining influence of Jupiter shows better soul options right from the turning point of this ‘divine justice’ full moon. Yet this takes demonstrating your choice (another Libra word) to live from individually considered fair rights for all in thoughts or feelings or actions. Even if you already predominately operate from a win-win attitude, the challenge at this time is to reflect deeper into even wider and broader perspectives. For we can only operate from a win-win to the extent that we are able to hear, see, listen to and empathically care about the points of view and needs of even the most different of souls, those it seems we cannot possibly profit from. Or is ‘profit from’ a win-lose perspective? These ‘weird souls’ might be hidden ‘messengers of the gods’ bringing the precise gifts needed at this time.
Mercury is Retro under this Libra Full Moon bringing us benefits when we stop overlooking the gifts right in front of our faces but often can’t see because we would normally consider them to be a ‘lose’. Yet they actually might turn out to be ‘wins’ if negotiated with clarity, heart-centred intelligence and respect, even if frustration flares up.
