2021’s Last Months Soul Astrology Update
It’s a been a while, and 2021 almost over! Recent big times in Melbourne have been matching the eclipse dates. The 5.9 Richter scale earthquake matched the Equinox, 23 Sept, and this Eclipse, 19 November, is matching more restrictions lifting in Melbourne, as well as the deadline rule that 90% of Victorians over age 12 should be double vaxxed.
Equinox and Eclipse dates match Melbourne Key Dates
Did you feel the September earthquake in Melbourne where you were? Are you not in Melbourne? Did anything in your part of Australia or the world get shaken up a different way approx 20ish Sept? And now in November, have you got your eclipse umbrellas ready for the almost total, but actually partial, lunar eclipse!
Since Jan 2020, the World’s Most Locked Down City
For the first time since World Lockdown began, here in the state of Victoria since 15 March 2020, it’s been 22 months of lockdown with various ins and outs of mostly ongoing strong restrictions through Greater Melbourne. And now from the 19th, coinciding with a Partial Lunar Eclipse, the Premier is allowing more venues to be open, yet of course many restrictions are still in place in ‘the world’s most locked-down city’ (Reuters).
The New Normal Q’est Ce C’est!
In about 4 months time, at March Equinox 2022, it will be two years since the Melbourne strict lockdown began, and it’ll be interesting to see what will stay as the New Normal and what more might be lifted then. If the cosmic dates keep matching Melbourne’s recent events, then I’m guessing there’ll be another announcement around then.
Pluto and Eris – Hooray Squares Are Over!
The good news in the stars is that a very major square between Pluto and Eris had its last exact hit in October. The first hit of five between these two was in January 2020 when the Global Pandemic Lockdown took hold.
What Are You Doing Differently to Be Newly Normal?
How are you functioning with heading toward the New Normal for this New Age? Many world causes are fighting for recognition during these times – it’s not all about Coronavirus or Covid-19.
Eris Discovered in 2005 All Part of the New Millennium
In 2005, the discovery of Eris by exo-planet astronomers, Mike Brown and co, globally caught the world’s attention, and subsequently forced Pluto’s reclassification and demotion in galactic terms to ‘only’ a dwarf planet. And happily Ceres, previously not properly acknowledged, was up-noted from asteroid status to become a dwarf planet.
Archetype of Coming in from the Cold
But what of Eris, the archetype of discord and strife, an emblem for those left out of life. This dwarf planet discovered out in the boon-docks of the icy realms past Pluto in 2006 is emotionally similar to Black Moon Lilith. From January 2020 to October 2021, Eris has been exactly squaring Pluto, weighing up what’s fair or unfair, especially when it comes to horror, terror and outrage, as well as themes of who’s in or out. This archetype has had an important cosmic chance to fight for those out in the cold.
The First Square was in Jan 2020 As Well As…
At the same time Eris and Pluto made their first square (January 2020) Pluto and Saturn were exactly conjunct in Capricorn. A Pluto-Sat-Cap is a once every approx 300 years power conjunction – a time when, to create an image, the ancestors of the universe come back to check the rules and adjust them to keep worlds turning.
The Feeling of Strife Is Passing
There is still an orb of influence to go with the Pluto-Eris square, yet fortunately the feeling of strife that comes with this alignment is beginning to pass.

Red Dwarf Stars and Dwarf Planet Superheroes
The other night on free TV (but one asks in these times, is anything really free… the fight to save the ABC goes on), prof astrophysicist Brian Cox’s show The Universe, talked of how red dwarf stars will be the last stars to stay alight in the universe when all light is lost in a trillion years time (according to current astrophysicist predictions). In our solar system there are no red dwarfs, but in our Milky Way Galaxy there are. I’m intrigued by all the latest labellings of different coloured and types of dwarves in our cosmos, and I guess it’s not surprising that the tough small people of folklore, dwarves, elves, gnomes and etc (who survive between worlds like tiny but tough superheros between dimensions) will be the strongest survivors among the planets and stars as well.
