What have you excluded that needs including? Mercury went Direct on 23 December, two days before Christmas, opening eyes wider, and this Aries 1st Qtr Moon gets more provocative by squaring Black Moon Lilith. In ancient myth, Lilith was the original wife of Adam in the Garden of Eden, not Eve, but when new rulers arrived in town, Adam wanted ‘in’ but Lilith wanted ‘out’. Once the queen of her land, she was now the black sheep; suddenly alienated and isolated.
If you’re feeling dislocated, you’re unlikely to be alone. If there’s someone in your circle who’s unpopular due to their different lifestyle, attitudes or out-of-resonance values, this is the time to consider giving them the benefit of the doubt just in case there has been an unfortunate misunderstanding. They might be clueless about being off-key, or not know how to remedy the situation.
Although Direct, Mercury is still in a Retro Shadow until 11 Jan, and the vibe of this current lunar month remains until 17 Jan. This week’s Qtr Moon in Aries asks us to persist with evolving points of view until at least mid-Jan, no matter how much you might want to kick someone out of your Garden of Eden or tell them to shove theirs up their cloaca! Yet there might be situations that need a complete break, so keep checking your own context.
This Qtr Moon in Aries also squares a group of Capricorn planets including Venus, Saturn and Pluto. Through this ‘season to be jolly’ sudden waves of sadness might appear. You might even feel oddly estranged from your own identity or ecstatically reunited in a dance of happy-sad. If you lose your ‘I am’, what’s the antidote? Try some Capricorn planning of your year ahead. It will help you work out your goals, which will mean working out who you are now, not yesterday; which will help you work out where you want to go, who you belong to and ways to embrace being included!
