Well-known psychological astrologers such as Liz Greene and Robert Hand write the text for astro.com’s reports. This site is run by Astrodienst in Switzerland and is an excellent resource.
Federation of Australian Astrologers (FAA)
The FAA has state branches that hold regular meetings for both members and non-members. These meetings are fun networking opportunities for anyone interested in astrology. Each branch has its own website and monthly newsletter. The FAA acts as an examination body for astrologers.
Association of Professional Astrologers (APA)
The APA is the professional arm of the FAA. After passing exams by the FAA, or set by an equivalent astrology course, it’s possible to apply for membership to the APA. A certain number of hours counselling/consulting training are required, including having been professionally supervised. The APA is accountable to the Association of International Professional Astrologers.
Astro*Synthesis at The Chiron Centre
First and 2nd year Astro*Synthesis subjects are no longer taught at The Chiron Centre, yet these two years are available by correspondence through them. Alternatively, equivalent courses are run by approved teachers. The Radiant Living Certificate in Holistic Astrology is an approved classroom course for 1st year. The Astro*Synthesis Diploma in Applied Astrology is still open to 3rd and 4th year students.
