Make Your Luck
This New Moon in Virgo features Venus and Jupiter close together, the good luck planets. What in your life needs you to action your luck? The planet of value, worth and assets (Venus) and the planet of good tidings (Jupiter) don’t drop luck from the sky. The stars act as reminders, a bit like scheduled ‘bings’, and right now Venus and Mars remind us to make our own luck.
Similar to how particular calendar dates trigger certain behaviour (e.g. Christmas), the stars trigger certain themes. The theme is to plan your luck, then action it, review it and refine it. It’s an optimistic time to clarify your values and reach toward those you resonate with (Venus). You could find yourself in front of the right person (Jupiter) to get you where you want to be.
There are challenges and hurdles to overcome, especially in relationships, shown by Mars squaring Venus, and Mars still in its post-Retro phase until 9 October (coincidentally the same date as the next New Moon). It’s a time to take on feedback and strengthen up as great connections are very possible now. Life priorities are changing, opening space for resonant connections with people or projects that were previously committed elsewhere.
With the New Moon in Virgo over the next four weeks, it can help to think and be like a Virgo. This means being discerning, honest, practical, organised and clear. It’s the time to get real, roll up your sleeves and do a deep clean. Because Venus and Mars are squaring each other, you might meet resistance. If you get a repeated ‘no’, retreat and learn. Consider the downsides of not taking ‘no’ for an answer. It might be possible to try again with that same person later or it might not.
Mars moves into Aquarius on 11 September and will bring bright new ideas and options. What needs more growth and insight before you reach toward the next option for a ‘yes’? Keep pruning, purifying and developing until you are shining clear and flowing with luck.
